"Proposed Fiduciary Rule and It's Impact"

Congressman, Andy Barr

Congressman Barr will focus his remarks on the Department of Labor's fiduciary rule, how it will impact advisors, financial and retirement industry as well as our clients and prospects. In addition, Congressman Barr will provide some insight as to how members of Congress are attempting to have Secretary Perez take another review of the proposal and its unintended impact on the delivery of financial advice.

Come to our January meeting to learn first hand the truth about the fiduciary rule and hear Congressman's Barr predictions on how Congress will act on this rule.

Congressman Andy Barr is a native of Lexington, a graduate of Henry Clay High School, University of Virginia and earned his JD from University of Kentucky. He has practiced law in Lexington for several years. Andy has served as the U.S. Representative of Kentucky's sixth Congressional District since 2013. He also serves on the Committee of Financial Services in Washington.
