How Do HECMs Help Financial Advisors?
This program will cover changes in the HECM industry and then demonstrate how HECMs can be a valuable financial tool for advisors and clients.

Presenter, Mike Cornette, began college in his hometown of Ashland, Kentucky, completing an associate program before continuing his education at University of Kentucky in Lexington. He began his business career as an economic development specialist in Kentucky state government.

Mike gained his mortgage lending background through associations with a local mortgage company and an established Lexington community bank. He then joined a national Joint Venture (JV) lender specializing in the Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM) program. The success of that relationship launched his development as a HECM professional.

Mike’s business is exclusively self-generated through relationships with established referral partners. This allows Mike to serve as a trusted resource to consumers trying to make informed decisions about Home Equity and Aging in Place. Mike is uniquely qualified to “deliver” The Federal Savings Bank as a resource to today’s senior marketplace.

Presenter, Bob Tranchell,
has a BA in Religion from the University of Massachusetts. He also studied vocal performance at Boston University and Arabic language at the American University of Cairo. His professional career has always centered on improving the lives of those he comes in contact with. He spent 18 years in the ministry many of them overseas in developing countries, before making the transition into the HECM industry.

Working exclusively in the HECM industry for the past 12 years, he established himself as an industry expert excelling at sharing the value of home equity retirement planning. Education has always been the hallmark of his career where he has developed curriculum for CFPs, CPAs, and Realtors, and has taught the hundreds of professionals the value of using HECMs in retirement planning.
